COURSE OVERVIEW: The Winter Embroidery Program

Bridge global heritage with modern craftsmanship in this definitive technical intensive.

By stripping away the distraction of complex color palettes, our monochromatic "Starter-Course" prioritizes the development of professional muscle memory, rhythmic precision, and the technical nuances of the tambour hook.

Program Overview

This curriculum features two exclusive printable patterns designed to bridge the gap between Aari (Indian-origin) and Luneville (French) techniques. Utilizing the Luneville crochet hook, the program focuses on developing muscle memory, transforming technical movements into a fluid, meditative process where confidence replaces the fear of error.

Upon enrollment, you will receive immediate access to 12 comprehensive lessons via our web portal, 2 printable design templates, and a curated private YouTube playlist featuring 30 specialized tutorials. Please note that as this is a technique-driven "training intensive," the curriculum prioritizes immersive video instruction over traditional PDF manuals.

Curriculum

The Winter Program is an essential gateway for those ready to move beyond basic discovery into the mastery of professional habits. Unlike our accessory-heavy seasonal courses, this program utilizes a minimalist white-on-white aesthetic to strip away distractions and focus entirely on technical precision.

As a foundational intensive, you will master the professional mounting of an embroidery frame and the execution of the tambour stitch. Beyond the basics, you will uncover the "hidden nuances" of the craft—learning to direct stitches for specific forms, building balanced compositions, and achieving a level of accuracy that defines professional work.

Instruction & Flexibility

The program is delivered through 12 high-quality, pre-recorded modules and 30 targeted tutorials. By focusing on a monochromatic palette, you are free to concentrate on the geometry and rhythm of your work rather than color changes.

We respect your personal creative pace. There are no deadlines or expiration dates; your access is unlimited, allowing you to revisit lessons and refine your skills whenever your schedule permits.

Material Selection & Logistics

To ensure your workspace mirrors our professional studio, you may choose between two options for your supplies:

  1. The Complete Kit: Direct home delivery of our curated material set.

  2. The Digital Resource List: A comprehensive guide with direct sourcing links to our preferred vendors.

I have been a hand embroiderer for over 50 years and am totally enthralled with Luneville Embroidery. Even though I have been doing hand embroidery for years, Luneville is new to me and I would like to get a good foundation. I am going to start at the beginning and then take all of the classes that you offer, in order, as your work is exquisite.

I love the imperfections of things done by hand knowing that someone put time into it.

Also, I watched some of your videos last night and I am most excited to be learning from your great talent, your work is beautiful.

Thank you for everything you are doing to help me, it means more to me than I have words for

I wanted to let you know that I managed to complete your "winter" embroidery course!! I struggle a little at the beginning, but then managed to better understand the technique as I kept practicing. I very much enjoyed the course and your video explanations were very helpful! See attachment for some photos of the outcome.

On another note, my sister is getting married in October and I wanted to embroider a few flower designs on her veil. I wanted to ask you if you could provide some advice?
