About the Course
The Summer Course is tailored for individuals with prior embroidery experience who wish to deepen their expertise in haute couture embroidery. Participants will work with delicate fabric pieces to create compositions for future embroidery, incorporating beads and various sizes of sequins for volume embroidery.
The course includes 2 embroidery projects and 5 printable patterns, focusing on both the Aari/Indian-origin technique and the Luneville/French method, utilizing a Luneville crochet hook.
The primary goal of the program is to master all types of tambour stitches with accessories on the first embroidery project and to apply 3D embroidery techniques using a wide range of sequins on the second project. These embroidery skills are crucial for crafting haute couture garments.
Program Overiew
The program consists of 12 high-quality pre-recorded video lessons, PDF instruction files, 5 patterns, and 26 tutorials with detailed exercises that will guide you to a professional level of embroidery efficiently.
The Summer Project covers both Indian and Aari embroidery techniques using a universal type of embroidery crochet hook, along with glass beads and sequins, allowing you to master both methods simultaneously and refine your hand skills. Following this, we will tackle complex volume embroidery techniques with accessories and practice creating a 3D butterfly with a separate wing. The second part of the course will enable you to understand and create various voluminous flowers with separate petals made of sequins or beads for your future embroidery projects.
